How often do you make the wikitravel dump? and is it possible to update it when online? if it is, and you sort out the licensing issues, you've got my money.
As for the WikiTravel data we plan delivering content updates monthly + each time we make an application update via App Store.
As far as originally this application was planned as offline there's no way one can update the travel guide content online at the moment.
The fact is content on WikiTravel is updated not that frequently for it to be vital to have it literally up-to-day - on the one hand. On the other hand we find possibility of downloading the content that changed only and not the whole app pretty useful so we're thinking about adding this functionality in the future.
